✅ Select Template Type
Before starting your template design, please choose the size that matches the template type you want to create.
📢 NoticeIf the selected template type and the actual content of the template do not match, the template may be rejected during the review process. |
① Access the MiriCanvas workspace and select the "Create a design" button at the upper right corner.
② Choose the template type you want to create.
e.g) If you're designing a YouTube thumbnail, click on the "YouTube Thumbnail" option by following process. ('Creating a design > Web > YouTube > Thumbnail)
✅ Use Layer Function
We recommend using the 'Layer' function for your convenience.
You can turn the 'Layer' on/off through the menu at the top left corner.
For a quick shortcut, use "Command(Ctrl) + Shift + Y"
✅ Content Usage Guide
Before you start building your template, familiarize yourself with the usage of different types of content:
1️⃣ Solid Color Background
If you want to use a solid color background, use the 'Background Color' feature.
① Move to the background
② Click 'Background Color'
③ Click your preferred color
📢 NoticeIf you place rectangular elements to use as the background, the template may be rejected during the review process. |
2️⃣ Background with Other Content Formats
If you want to use content other than 'Background' as your backdrop, use the 'Set as Background' feature.
① Click the desired tab in the left panel
② Enter the content keyword in the search bar
③ Click on the desired content
④ Select the content > right-click > click "Set as background"
💡 'Photo', 'Background Removed Photo', 'PNG Elements', and 'Background' content can only use the 'Make as Background' feature.
3️⃣ 'Photo' Content Cannot Be Used Standalone
'Photo' content cannot be used standalone.
It must be placed within a 'Frame' element.
① Load the desired 'Photo' and 'Frame' content
② Drag and drop the 'Photo' into the 'Frame'
You can find 'Frame' elements under Elements > Frames.
4️⃣ Adjusting Handler Zone
Handler zone : The rectangular user interface that allows modifications like size, length, rotation etc.
Maintain an appropriate handler zone or element crop status for user-friendly template designs.
A broader handler zone complicates the selection of background elements, thereby reducing usability.
Therefore, only elements with an appropriate handler zone or element crop status can be used in the template design.
Refer to the following for handler zone adjustment:
① Double-click the content you want to adjust
② Adjust the area
You can freely adjust the handler zone for contents such as 'Photo', 'Background Removed Photo', 'PNG Elements', and 'Background' within the MiriCanvas design editor. However, this adjustment is not possible for other types of content.
📢 NoticeIf the handler zone for the content is not properly adjusted or the crop status of elements is not appropriate, the template may be rejected during the review process. |
✅ Text Usage Guide
1️⃣ Easily Find Fonts Using the Filter Function
MiriCanvas provides around 1,000 free/paid fonts, which can make it challenging to find the desired font.
In such instances, the 'Filter' function facilitates the process of pinpointing your desired font.
2️⃣ Adjust Text Layer Order
Please make sure that text layers are positioned at the top.
📢 NoticeIf text layers positioned at the bottom, it may affect usability and may potentially lead to the rejection of the template during the review process. * Except for designs requiring specific placement |
Text grouping is not allowed. Please ensure that your text stays in individual layers.
📢 NoticeIf text grouping exists, the template may be rejected during the review process. |
3️⃣ Other Considerations
To maintain consistency in design, usability and aesthetics, please keep appropriate spacing and alignment between elements, images, and text.
- e.g) If the text's position is to the left, the text should be left-aligned.
✅ Creating Variant Designs
For single-page templates, you can create up to 3 variant designs including the original template.
You can maintain the text and elements while changing aspects like letter spacing, font, color, etc., to create multiple design versions.
Remember, the original and variant designs have to be saved as separate design documents.
📢 Notice.- Submitting an excessive number of design variations may lead to rejection during the review process. |
